For too long, Christians have gathered to discuss the problems confronting our nation, lament the direction of our government, and express concern about the future of our communities. But concern without action changes nothing. Conviction without participation accomplishes little.
It is time to move beyond conversation and into action.
The Christians in Civic Government Conference, November 6–7, 2026, in Sylvania, Ohio, is designed to challenge, educate, equip, and mobilize Christians to become informed, responsible, and effective participants in American civic government.
But understanding these principles is only the beginning.
We intend to answer three essential questions:
- WHY should Christians participate in civic government? What are the biblical, historical, and constitutional foundations of that responsibility?
- HOW can Christians effectively engage in the political and civic processes of their communities, states, and nation?
- WHAT NEXT? How do we translate conviction into organized action, develop leaders, build relationships, and produce meaningful, measurable results?
This conference is not intended to be another event where attendees listen, applaud, exchange pleasantries, and return home to business as usual.
Our purpose is to equip Christians to understand the institutions of government, exercise their responsibilities as citizens, organize effectively, and become active participants in shaping the future of their communities and nation.
We believe faithful citizenship requires more than observing the political process from the sidelines. It requires knowledge, courage, preparation, perseverance, and participation.
